The M&S DMC3-4 Retrofit Master Station must use individual wire that runs from the master to each intercom speaker. Replacing the master requires all other components to be replaced except wire and M&S music and door speakers with round bell buttons. (The exceptions are M&S MC302 and MC602 systems w/o CD or cassette players. Only the master and update frame have to be purchased when replacing these models.) The 3-wire intercom system replacement allows 13 remote stations and 3 door speakers and the 4-wire intercom system replacement allows 15 remote stations and 3 door speakers. DMC3-4 features include: ---2 music source inputs. ---A full clock radio that supports waking up or falling asleep to music. ---Monitoring capabilities for infants and elderly. ---Intercom only and optional door release.
