The IO receiver for gates allows existing gate and garage door motors to be made compatible with Somfy io technology, allowing control via a single Somfy remote control. It is ideal for integrating devices from other brands into Somfy systems, such as TaHoma and Connexoon, and can be used in home automation scenarios. Equipped with two relay contacts, it can manage up to two independent automations. Supports up to 16 transmitters for each relay, for a total of 32. Although it offers practical integration, it does not allow feedback on the status of the gate or garage. It is essential that the connected devices comply with the EN 12453 safety regulation. It does not completely replace the advantages of native io engines. It is a useful solution for unifying access control without replacing.
